Canada

I was born in Tehran Iran, where I had my BA in fine arts. I moved to Canada in 2007. I studied computer animation at Sheridan College and the old master techniques at The Academy of Art Canada. At the Academy I excelled in my drawing and painting skills and entered the realm of poetic realism, where I learned various historical techniques like Venetian and Flemish, studying the masters. I explore different genres like still life, landscape, portraits, and figures. I recently started a series of paintings depicting my dreams. In order to translate my vision into an image sometimes I make a model out of clay and other materials from what I have in mind and then start the process of painting. It is a complex process including layers of glazes and impasto. The veil of glazes will bring the magic into the painting, that is what I call my poetry!
