What struck him was the difference with all the other selfies that fill this social media platform. This young girl 'influencer' for make-up brands does not have the usual expression of perfect, seductive beauty. "Julia" looks surprised and scared as if she is seeing her face for the first time and does not recognize herself. How many of us do not recognize ourselves in the image that the screen shows us?
