This first painting of 2021 could be the beginning of a series based on the exacerbation of contrasts. This one evokes the crowd and the feeling of difference and isolation. Loneliness is how you view your situation. Someone who feels lonely may have family and friends nearby, but still feel lonely. A feeling of loneliness can be transient in relation to life events, and in this pandemic period many people are feeling the effects. Social ties are a basic, if not crucial, human need for well-being and survival. One more reason to care more than ever for those you love (family and friends) and to care for your neighbours, especially if they are old. Millefeuilles 50.
