Description:

In this artwork, I’ve created a very personal version of the profound meaning of the Taoist philosophy seen in a contemporary key. The "yin and yang" represents the path, the becoming of all things, which is realized with a movement that oscillates between two extremes: each time one of the two is reached, a force pushes in the opposite direction and so on. The two halves into which this representation is divided therefore reflect two opposite and complementary principles at the same time: darkness and light/good and evil. With the awareness that to rise it is necessary that both of these sides must coexist. In fact, the picture, like a palindrome word, does not have a top and does not have a downside. The two sections are interchangeable and could be viewed upside down! Ready to hang.
