Rebirth

We are all aware of the seriousness of COVD-19, a new virus unknown by all experts in the field. My home is a renovated farmhouse with my study and large garden. Like every day, I live inside the same where I create works of art. The decree issued by the Italian government, to deal with this dramatic CORONAVIRUS, orders all Italians to remain closed in their homes and to go out only for extreme needs. Honestly and fortunately, my life has not undergone a great change, accustomed to spending most of the days in my laboratory. In this difficult period, reflecting on the conditions in which all doctors, nurses and health workers are forced to work in the front line to fight this invisible virus and save as many people as possible by putting their lives at risk, I wanted to convey a moment of my profound restlessness, with this work entitled "REBIRTH" I would like to make a small contribution by putting the work at auction and subsequently donate the profit will be donated to the "Santa Maria della Misericordia" hospital in Udine. Why a big mask? because I consider it a shield for the defense that we humans have in this global war, which obliges distance and denies contact. The empty squares and streets surrounded by a great silence violated only by the sirens of the ambulances and police forces, cause me a state of anguish, but at the same time an inner peace in the hope of a rebirth of our country.
