Description:
Sail away is about summer, holiday fun, sun, sea, freedom, and tailwind. Growing up in Finish archipelago, thought to love the sea it represents my freedom and rugged natural beauty. Inspiration for this painting came from my personal love of sailing, big adventures of seeing new islands, meeting other sailors on ports, exchanging your experiences and affiliations. The colors of this painting do not very finish, more on the Mediterranean side, I wanted colors to be bright and happy like it is when sailing feeling good and free. Acrylic, permanent marker on canvas, painted on unstretched canvas.
