Window to a Divorce II

This early work by contemporary Welsh Artist, Sian Thomas, is jarring both visually and in the context of her wider style, in the sense that it departs from the conventional self-portrait. Thomas's work primarily features a confident, almost confrontational, glaring female form starring out at the viewer; in this piece Thomas has chosen to obscure the gaze behind a veil of hair.
