Carlo Tozzi
Founder & Art Director
Carlo is an Italian based in Amsterdam, with over 20 years of experience in the art world as an artist and curator. He’s exhibited his work in Madrid, London, Amsterdam, and The Hague. After organizing workshops, lectures, and art events, he founded st-Art in January 2019 to further support and mentor emerging contemporary artists.

Raquel Cayuela
Instructor & Marketing Manager
Raquel is a minimalist visual storyteller based in The Netherlands. blending her love for art, photography, architecture, and interior design with her passion for travel. A dedicated ocean activist and nature enthusiast, her sophisticated style is deeply inspired by organic shapes and beauty of the sea and nature. She channels this connection into her work, texture art that captures the essence of natural landscapes.

Nooshin Zokaie
Art Curator & Mentoring Manager
Nooshin is an Iranian artist currently based in Rome, Italy. While she initially studied Economics, in August 2014, she decided to move to Milan, Italy and begin studying painting at the Academia delle Belle Arti di Brera. In her studies, she was strongly supported by her masters, developed a brillant portfolio of work, and today she works as a remote mentor for st-Art artists.

Nicole Cereda
Studio Assistant
Nicole is an art historian based in Amsterdam, passionate about museums and the history of collecting. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History and Criticism from the University of Milan, where she specialized in museology and exhibition research. After gaining experience in curatorial work at Castello Sforzesco, she is now expanding her knowledge on both the cultural and commercial dynamics of the art market as an intern at st-Art.

Nicolas Prins
Instructor & Mentor
After receiving his MA in Painting from LUCA Brussels, Nicolas now teaches and lives in Amsterdam, Netherlands. “Art for me is about being able to convey the drama of someone who has been abandoned and how they can survive in this world. Being a person of colour and mixed heritage, queer, and immigrant, I have no difficulty finding subjects for my paintings. In them, I see myself as a film director composing dreamy narratives from unrelated source materials creating an uncanny and often dramatic scene.”

Lorena Pritchard
Instructor & Mentor
With a background in sculpture, drawing, and painting, Lorena finds the playful medium of clay deeply rewarding. She has a passion for sharing its beauty and grounding qualities, emphasizing mindfulness and connection to the earth in the making process. Inspired by her Sicilian heritage and passion for botanical elements, her colorful cups, bowls, and plates are infused with a dreamy, ethereal, and nostalgic quality.

Eliza De Geus

Eliza originally joined the st-Art community through our mentorship program, and quickly became part of the team. She is passionate about opening up conversations through art. She loves to support students on their creative journey, and contribute to the future of art education.

Casper Strietman
Instructor
Casper, a 34-year-old Amsterdam native and graduate of the St. Joost Academy of Art in Breda (2015), paints primarily in oil and explores architectural themes that capture the essence of places and their inhabitants. In particular, he reflects diverse social landscapes and often highlights the charm and vulnerability of society. Casper has participated in multiple international residencies, including collaborations with DJ Todd Terry in New York (2019), and recent residencies in Barcelona, Paris, and Jersey.

Yassine is a visual designer with over 8 years of experience in digital art. He has created 2D/3D visual art and animation for several names in the Dutch music industry. He has also done work for some international names from the Hip/Hop scene, such as Trippie red, Rarri,6ix9ine, and Meek Mill.
