Girl With Butterflies (small print)
In these three pieces, I aim to fuse nature with the human body, exploring the deep connection between the self and the natural world.
Using flowers, butterflies, and animals as symbols of change, growth, and the interconnectedness of all living things. The surreal elements invite viewers to reflect on their own relationships with nature, while blurring the boundaries between the human form and the environment.
Through this surrealistic approach, I explore not just my own identity, but the ever-changing nature of existence.
Drawing from reference images of myself and my surroundings through the use of light and shadow, I create a dream-like atmosphere that adds emotional depth to the piece.
Print of the the original artwork. The original self-portrait is made with graphite pencil with the background mixed with charcoal powder+oil on paper.
