Description:
Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's poem 'Alone'. A beautiful, yet turbulent relationship with Loneliness can create the most personal Art. Even if it is a playful manner (pink ribbons, small frame of a girl) we can still appreciate the dark side (darkest of waters, with hints of Waterlilies) indicate this. A solitary journey we are all familiar with, yet express it differently. Edgar expressed his, through his poetry. And mine through painting.
