Acrylic on canvas, Fluorescent and phosphorescent vinyl colors
The Egyptians were the first to talk about Bennu, the creature that later became the phoenix in Greek legends. According to ancient Egyptians, Bennu did not rise from the flames, to which it was immune (as in the Greek myth and later), but from the waters. The phoenix is a mythological bird present in the folklore of various peoples, considered to be able to control fire and to be born again from their ashes after death.
The painting's colors change when exposed to light or dark, thanks to the use of fluorescent paint.
