The Stadspaleis is my favorite coffee place in Amsterdam. But no, not only because its metres away from my downtown studio, not only because it sits in a sort of island of peace from the many nearby tourist masses strolling east and west from here but because of the amazing family that runs this wonderful business, the Kroon family: Joost and Anne Frans & their 4 sons Jesse, Noah, Taj and Díaz plus other friendly and amazing staff to whom I was once ever so near.
