This painting is a part of quadriptych project. It depicts a medieval woman in autumn outfit. Warm background tones and dark shadows creates a sense of a small porch with a window above the head. Inspiration behind this painting comes from a friendship of the artist with the portrayed Anna - who is bringing back alive medieval entertainment, clothing, cuisine, crafting and medieval lifestyle during organized cultural show events. Anna was a muse and source of inspiration for the several of paintings. Subtle texture was created with thick paint and bristle brush.
