Reflections on glass facades have always fascinated me. The main reason why is that through the reflection, two worlds come together and distort one another. Here, the rigid grid of the Police Station building melts with the stone, monumental arched windows of the City hall. The image is printed using the cyanotype printing process. This allows for experimentation with the chemicals and exposure times and brings back the element of uniqueness and craft in photography. The borders between photography and painting become intentionally vague. Cyanotype print on aquarelle paper, 300g.
